ABOUT SITRUS

Surrey Initiative for Training and Research in Ultrasound is a charity registered in England & Wales (1184648).

We provide training courses and use the proceeds to provide training and equipment for our local hospital, the Royal Surrey.

Our Trustees are highly experienced in ultrasound training and education and work hard to deliver a quality experience.

OUR COURSES ARE ACCREDITED BY

FUSIC

FUSIC, delivered by the Intensive Care Society, is the natural amalgamation of the educational aspects of whole-body ultrasound and echocardiography delivered in a modular format to deliver widespread accreditation and take POCUS in the speciality of critical care forward in the UK and beyond.

FAMUS

This is the accreditation process in point of care echocardiography administered by the Society of Acute Medicine. Click the logo to go to the relevant section on thier website.

SOCIAL MEDIA & ULTRASOUND

Many of our faculty use social media to advance the practice and educate in the field of ultrasound.
SITRUS use SoMe to promote the education of ultrasound using the FOAMed and FOAMus movements.
